Yes. The Evnex E2 range includes solar diversion technology. It detects when your solar system is exporting surplus power and automatically diverts that energy into your EV instead of sending it back to the grid for a low buy-back rate.
Evnex chargers are compatible with all EVs in New Zealand that use a Type 2 charging port — the standard on all new EVs sold here. If you have an older Type 1 vehicle, the team can advise on adapter options.
Evnex E2 chargers include built-in home overload protection. The charger monitors your home’s load and automatically reduces charging speed if needed to protect your main supply and avoid nuisance tripping.
Most homes in Taranaki are single-phase and work perfectly with the E2 range at up to 7.4kW. The X22 model is available for three-phase properties that want maximum charging speed.
